Longer Days

It was sooo exciting to day while getting a ride home from Oakland at 6pm to realize that it is finally staying lighter longer. It feels as though the darkness of winter will soon be chased away by the sunny days of spring. Strange to think that it is only midway through the first month of the new year.
I had dinner last night with a co-workers wife. It was very interesting to be told to travel more while I am young. Makes me remember all of the traveling that I did when i was younger.
How can I feel so old and only have 30 creeping up around the next corner?
