Clear Communication

Today I discovered what it is like to communicate clearly and directly. It happened all of a sudden in the middle of a conversation where I found myself talking to someone who was not following what I was saying. I feel as though this happens a lot at work between everyone.
It took a split second for me to realize that I needed to be as clear and concise about what it was that I was trying to do. It was actually ground breaking for me becasue for the most part I have a hard time saying exactly it is that I am trying to convey. Especially in this settin gor wrk where I barely know what it is that I a suppose to be doing half the time.
At the end of the conversation after I said all of the key words and dates that needed to be said, the person that I was conversing with actually understood what it was tht I was saying instead of what they thought they were hears. Two entirely different things.
It felt really good. I don't expect it to happen all of the time, but if it happens once it can happen again.
