I am relearning how to go to bed early and to wake up early. It is different then I am used to for the past few years. For me school was a choice to go to, early classes happened and if I made it to them, I went. Now with a job that (thankfully) starts at 9am, I am having to start my days early.
This morning after spending the night at a friends house in the Lower Haight. I awoke with no change for the bus down town. Upon heading down Haight Street I realized that al of the "convience" stores were not open at the 8am hour. I ended up having a lovely morning walk. Becoming aware of so many other people up at the early hour and off to work.
The world keeps spinning whether I am aware of it or not.
I've been meeting a friend at the gym most mornings at 7:30, even by then the Castro has a lot of activity and there are quite a few people getting their coffee at Cafe Flore.
