What I miss the most (well second most) living here in the Bay area are thunderstorms. We just don't get them, and they are so awesome!!
I went to Arizona for a few days and got my thunder and lighting fix. The dark clouds roll in and the lightening starts and the thunder booms for miles. It is so amazing!! I had forgotten the impressive show that mother nature puts on so easily every day at a give time in the Southwest.
The magnitude of the clouds and how high the climb and just how much rain they release is inspiring.
